Buổi sáng cuối năm mưa bay lất phất trời se lạnh, tôi lại tìm đến quán cà phê quen thuộc, ngồi một mình, suy nghĩ miên man. Nghĩ xem năm qua mình đã làm được những gì và đặt ra mục tiêu cho năm mới. Những đêm giao thừa kéo nhau cả bầy, cả lũ về quán cà phê này, ngồi "trầm" ở đây đợi đến gần 12 giờ khuya mới về đã trở thành dĩ vãng xa xưa.<br /> <br /> Giờ mỗi đứa đã già đi, đã có những lo toan, công việc bận rộn riêng. Và càng ngày tôi càng thích ngồi một mình trong quán. Tìm một chỗ khuất trong góc, tôi như trở về cõi riêng của mình. Quán cà phê sát bên mặt đường, cửa kính chắn ngang, máy lạnh mát dịu, cuộc sống bên ngoài như gần như xa vì âm thanh xô bờ không thấm vào trong này, tôi nhìn cảnh vật bên ngoài như bằng một con mắt khác.<br /> <br /> Theo từng giọt cà phê chậm chạp rơi xuống ly, từng giọt, từng giọt đậm đặc, cuộc sống, sinh hoạt của thành phố dường như chậm lại, xe cộ, người đi như từ từ trôi qua, trôi qua, thật yên ả, nhẹ nhàng...<br /> <br /> Trong cuộc sống bộn bề, thực tình có được một khoảng trống, một chút thời gian yên bình đã là quý. Vì vậy ít khi nào tôi bỏ lỡ cơ hội khi có thời gian rãnh rỗi, tôi sẽ lang thang hết thời gian rãnh rỗi này.<br /> <br /> Cũng giống như sáng hôm nay, tôi đã thu xếp, dọn dẹp hết mọi công việc, rồi tìm ra quán cà phê quen thuộc này để được yên tĩnh một mình, tìm một buổi sáng "yên bình" quý hiếm cho riêng mình.<br /> <br /> Bạn bè có khi thắc mắc sao tôi cứ hay ngồi quán một mình, uống cà phê cũng cần có bạn tán chuyện "chuyện người chuyện ta, chuyện trên trời dưới đất" chứ! Họ không biết là khi ngồi cà phê một mình, chính là lúc tôi sống đủ đầy nhất cuộc sống riêng. Bởi khi nâng ly cà phê thơm lừng hớp từng ngụm nhỏ, khi cảm nhận cái mùi vị đăng đắng, ngọt ngọt trên đầu lưỡi, tôi sống lại từng phút với bạn bè yêu dấu cũ. Từng khuôn mặt thân quen cứ hiện ra, từng kỷ niệm lại được khơi dậy và đôi khi tôi tủm tỉm cười như một thời trẻ thơ vẫn còn quẩn quanh đâu đó. Những phút giây ấy trong lòng như được an ủi, vỗ về, như một cái chạm tay, phớt nhẹ của một đứa bạn cũ vừa trở về sau thời gian dài vắng bóng, như có một tiếng cười khe khẻ vang lên thật ấm áp trong một góc phòng nào đó khiến con tim lại rộn ràng, nóng bỏng...<br /> <br /> Buổi sáng hôm nay, ngồi quán cà phê một mình, tôi đã sống đầy ắp với niềm nhớ thương, nuối tiếc một đời và cảm thấy thư thái nhẹ nhõm trong lòng. Như cô bạn gái của tôi từng nói "Miễn sao trong lòng mình còn một khoảng trời mở, một cánh cửa mở là sống được". Sáng hôm nay tôi đã tìm về cánh cửa mở ấy, khoảng trời xanh ấy. Và tôi rất muốn trao tặng cô bạn của tôi những dòng chữ này nhưng biết rằng cô bạn của tôi chỉ thích những sự tình cờ lãng mạn hơn những thù tạc cứng nhắc nên tôi hy vọng rằng cô bạn của tôi sẽ đọc được ở đâu đó. Như thế cô bạn của tôi sẽ biết rằng trong mỗi giọt cà phê rơi xuống hôm nay có giọt dành cho cô ấy, một tri kỷ cà phê như tôi.
